Auger Drilling & Groundworks
HSL Utilities Ltd operates several lorry-mounted auger drilling machines to carry out post hole boring and auger drilling work throughout the UK. Equipped with modern auger drilling equipment weighing in excess of 13 tonnes, our post hole boring teams can dig through the toughest of terrain (including concrete and rock).
Measuring two meters in length, our 12” and 18” drills are capable of drilling to a depth of 3 meters when aided by an extendable auger. Though commonly used for the installation of galvanised and wooden telegraph poles for the utility industries, HSL Utilities Ltd has also undertaken auger drilling for the purposes of installing WIFI, CCTV and lighting poles.
Our experienced team of groundwork operatives has a proven track record for providing quality works on many projects, including trenching, kerb replacements, garden projects, paving, drilling and ground preparation.
At HSL Utilities Ltd, our groundwork team members all hold NRSWA Street works cards, and industry approved training certificates including CPCS, NPORS and CSKILLS.
